The European Society of Hypertension (ESH) organises this year’s Summer School in Les Diablerets, Switzerland, on 7 – 13 September 2018.

Applications are invited from BIHS members or their nominees to attend. The BIHS will be pleased to cover the economy travel costs of two candidates from the UK or Republic of Ireland to Italy. The ESH will cover the costs of accommodation and meals.

Please note the ESH Summer School is a once-in-a-lifetime event, which means each participant can attend the course only once in his/her life. Although there is no specific age limit, younger candidates under the age of 40 who have a strong interest in hypertension will be preferred.

• If you wish to be considered to be one of the BIHS nominees, please send an e-mail with your CV (including academic degrees, professional position, date of birth and a list of publications) to the BIHS Secretary, Dr Carmel McEniery, via the BIHS Secretariat, bihs@in-conference.org.uk no later than Wednesday 18th April 2018.

• The BIHS Executive Committee will review applications received and will inform the ESH of the shortlisted names by Monday 30th April 2018.

• Please do NOT send your CV directly to the ESH as all applications have to be reviewed and submitted by the BIHS.
